March 09, 2018 - Love this from Florence Scovel Shinn, " I now draw from the abundance of the spheres my immediate and endless supply. All channels are free! All doors are open!" And so it is!

March 6, 2018 - "It is safe for me to grow up. I now handle my own Life with Joy, Ease and Grace." -Louise Hay

November 16, 2017 - "When I let go of the old,

I allow unexpected Magic to unfold."

This art piece is a coloring page that I colored and scanned. I inverted the colors and I really like how it turned out. I seems magical to me.

The affirmation was inspired by a class I took at Mile Hi Church with Dr. Michelle Medrano, Sept-Nov. 2017.

October 26, 2017 - "Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it." -von Goethe

This is Metatron's Cube.  I am connected to this Sacred Geometry. There is just something that speaks to me. In creating the art, I infused Green light for Archangel Raphael and Blue light for Archangel Michael.

The affirmation was inspired by a reading in a class I took at Mile Hi Church with Dr. Michelle Medrano, Sept-Nov. 2017.

October 19, 2017 - "Life doesn't get easier or harder...

You get stronger and better with your positive thoughts,

choices and actions."

This is a photo of a crystal I have in my new car. I love the energy of this crystal and it spoke out to me for this affirmation.

The affirmation was inspired by a class I took at Mile Hi Church with

Dr. Michelle Medrano, Sept-Nov. 2017.

October 12, 2017 - "In my relationships, I am emotionally responsible;

I take responsibility for what is going on, I talk straight, I flight fair, and

I nurture." -Earnie Larsen

This is a rose from our garden. I so love roses.

The affirmation was inspired by a reading in a class I took at Mile Hi Church with Dr. Michelle Medrano, Sept-Nov. 2017.

October 05, 2017 - "Affirm: I transformed myself from what I was not,

to what I Am." And so it is! Amen!

I took this photo in Pennsylvania October of 2015. I just love the unaltered color of the leaf.

The affirmation was inspired by a class I took at Mile Hi Church with Dr. Michelle Medrano, Sept-Nov. 2017.

September 28, 2017 - "All things that I want for the Highest Good,

are already lined up for me." And so it is! Amen!

I took this photo in the Leadville, CO area. We were on a back road with no one on it, so I got out and took a shot of the road with the mountains in the background.

The affirmation was inspired by a class I took at Mile Hi Church with Dr. Michelle Medrano, Sept-Nov. 2017.

03/31/16 - I love this happy photo of Kiah!

Kiah and I went on a walk recently at one of my favorite childhood places. I asked her if she could sit still so Mom could snap a picture. She obliged and gave me this sweet smile.

I paired this photo with Dr. Roger Teel's Daily Pearl.

January 26,  2016 - I am currently taking 'Beyond Limits', an 8-week course with Dr. Roger Teel, studying the Science of Mind and Spirit at Mile Hi Church, in Lakewood, CO. I took Dr. Roger's class, 'Beyond Limits', January of 2013 with my mom. Since then, my life has changed for the greater and I am eternally grateful for the knowledge I have gained from applying the teaching to my life.  I had the opportunity to take the class again in 2016, and I jumped on it.  I absolutely love the class, Dr. Roger and his amazing team at Mile Hi Church.  Currently, we are reading 'The Perfect Power Within You' by Jack & Cornelia Addington and each lesson provides an affirmation for the day. There are 70 in total. Since I love to create inspirational art, I am creating photo art for each affirmation. I hope they are as helpful to you as they are to me. Much love and blessings.  -Melissa

Update: March 22, 2016 - Today is our last class and I am sad as I have so enjoyed the class and I am going to miss Tuesday nights with Dr. Roger, the TA's and everyone in the class. I have evolved greatly in my abundance (and I am not just speaking of money).  I stepped out of my own way and into Trust, knowing that I Am taken care of... always.  During this class, I learned that my passion is Mile Hi Church and what they teach about self-awareness ans self-growth, and I want to further my journey with Mile Hi Church.  Yay!!

02/18/16 - This photo was taken at the Huntington Gardens in Pasadena, CA. I immediately thought of this photo when I read the affirmation because of the beautiful pathway. I also thought of my mom's words of wisdom when I was growing up. She advised me to always to listen to the 'Voice within' - God's voice. The affirmation also reminded me of one of my favorite songs by Plumb - Need You Now, in which the lyrics say 'I'm trying to hear that still small voice'. I really love knowing that I can be still and hear the Guidance proper for my journey. We all have the same opportunity to receive Guidance, we just need to be still and listen. I am working on this everyday. ;)

02/17/16  - This is one of my favorite shots. I have my favorite ceramic cross with a crystal secured on with copper wire.  It is on top of my singing bowl.

02/16/16 -  This photo was taken at the Denver Botanic Gardens in August of 2014.  I love how the plants look like they are a "land lotus".

02/14/16 -  During the Valentines Day Mile Hi Church service Dr. Roger Teel shared his favorite love poem from Emmet Fox. I was inspired to create this next piece. I took the background photo last summer - it is a small vase with a heart opening.

I shared this on the Mile Hi Church FaceBook fan page, and I'm honored and humbled that they shared it on their page.  My inner child was ecstatic to see the notification that it was shared and I had no idea that they would.  Thank you, thank you!! Yay!!

02/13/16 - Oh.My.Gosh!  I went to such a blessed event on Saturday!! Dr. Roger Teel and the Mile Hi Ministers invited the members of the church to attend a first of it's kind workshop event.  I just loved it.  My mom and I went and I chose to sit up front so I can take it all in.  After the event I went up to the stage and asked for a photo. They said of course and invited me to stand with them.  I LOVE this church community.

02/12/16 - I took this photo December of 2015 in Jupiter, FL.

I created this piece with one of my favorite lyrics - Oceans by Hillsong United. Someone near and dear to my heart heard the song for the first time and instantly and loved the message so this is dedicated to her.

Check out this YouTube link for the Oceans song.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dy9nwe9_xzw

02/12/16 - I took this photo in Pasadena, CA, October of 2012, when my mom and I got the calling to take a soul journey getaway and see Louise Hay and Dr. Wayne Dyer at the Hay House 'I Can Do It' weekend. We stayed near Huntington Gardens and this palm tree was in one of the neighborhoods. I loved how the leaves appeared to be feathers. Palms always remind me of my mom and her name (Tamara) even means palm tree in Hebrew. I love her with all of my heart. So this one is dedicated to her.

02/03/16 - I took this photo at the Huntington Gardens in Pasadena, CA, October of 2012.

02/02/16 - I took this photo Summer of 2016. Chad brought home some beautiful flowers.  This one just popped.  I love the colors.

The flower is an African daisy, Gerbera.  Gerbera's message: comforting old friends, strengthening and balancing relationships, and attracting new friendships - "Flower Therapy" Doreen Virtue.

02/01/16 - I took this one in Winter Park, CO. Chad and I were vacationing during Memorial week in 2012. We were eating lunch and this humming bird fed on the flower long enough for me to get my camera and take quite of few shots before it zipped away. It was such a blessing to be One with the little bird and sending Love energy to it.

Humming Bird message - Put more emotional sweetness in your life. Openly express the love that you have and feel for those important people in your life. -Pocket Guide to Spirit Animals by Dr. Steven Farmer.

01/30/16 - This photo was taken at my favorite retreat get-a-way in the mountains of Colorado.  I love the colors I chose - the green and the purple just pop.

01/30/16 - The photo was taken August 2013 at Mesa Verde National Park in CO. I was guided to create the background to radiate blue light.

I was guided to choose this photo for the affirmation.   To me the ladder represents affirmative thinking, going toward the light, moving up.

The color blue is associated with protection.  Archangel Michael's halo color is blue.

01/29/16 The photo in the background of the affirmation is of an Orchid flower. My mom and I traveled to Pasadena, CA in October of 2012 and while there we visited Huntington Gardens where I snapped this beauty.

Orchid has it's own meaning too.  According to 'Flower Therapy' by Doreen Virtue and Robert Reeves, orchid's energetic properties are: moving forward, gathering strength to carry on, reaching for your goals, aiming for the stars, and not giving up.

The combination of the affirmation and the energy of the orchid help keep movement forward with great courage and strength.  Trusting that the perfect Spirit in you knows exactly what to do as long as you continue to do the work and strive for excellence.  Live with genuine care, honorable intent and holy integrity.

“Vase of Mind 2016” – By: Melissa Berg

This piece is inspired by Dr. Roger Teel’s message in Chapter 14-This Uncertainty is Magic, from his awe-inspiring book, This Life is Joy.  The part I am inspired by is when Dr. Roger explains how our mind is metaphorically like a vase.  A vase can be described by being a container which has a large base and sides that rise in order to hold water and flowers.  Our mind, too, must be open, ready and capable of learning and trying something new.  Dr Roger says, “It can be filled only because it is open”.

When I read this, an image of a vase I bought at Mile Hi Church popped up in my mind.  I love it.  It is a little hand-blown vase with a heart at the opening.  The colors are like a kaleidoscope.  I took photos of it last summer and I knew exactly which photo I wanted to use for my next inspiration project.

After I read Chapter 14-This Uncertainty is Magic, I was guided to my sacred alter.  I read one of my favorite quotes from Florence Scovel-Shinn at my alter.  Her words so resonate with me.

I had planned to create a vision board, or better, for my new goals and aspirations.  I had the action words I wanted to use, however, I love my last vision board so much that I want to add to it.  So this is what I am adding to my current board.

I love my newest creation.  Wishing you well!! -Melissa
